The company hasn't ported anything yet, but hainbach's other app Fundamental did get ported over (albeit with the worst gui possible). :idk:

can't use it on my Air 2 with iOS 14.2
all the gui is missing

will try un/installing
works now :thumb:

just turning the iPad off/on did the trick
now also showing up as AU

Oh, fuck. This might kill this iOS music app biz for good. As people would not want to offer their apps for cheaper if they knew they would be able to be used on a mac.

say, for Samplr...

am I just too stupid to find it
or is there really no way to export a multi track of your performance?
or even single tracks of recorded performance...

Is it true I'd have to resample/export or record one by one in AUM?

Samplr is an old app, and the developer works for Apple now. :idk: But yeah, resampling on AUM is the way to go unfortunately.

Flux was great in the day, albeit way too resource intensive, and now it's abandoned and better things have taken its place.

samplr - thanks, bit of a bummer, but still worth the work for some of the sounds it gets you

Flux - I tried it ages ago and was immediately turned away by the constant flickering of the gui,
just checked again now... you can of course turn that off

But I seem to be too tired now to make much sense of it other than it is a multiFX with XY and Seq that only does IAA and seems to use a lot of CPU
If you wanna know more just ask away and I'll give it another try tomorrow

edit: Uncle Connie beatme to it

Have you tried Auria, Uncle?

my brain does not really want to get into BM3 for some lazy reason,
Nanostudio doesn't do audio,
Gadget doesn't do AU,

youknow?

Just use Turnado by Sugar Bytes, save yourself the pain of Fluxx. I love Adrian Belew but that app ain't slick.

Cubase is better than Auria in my opinion, Auria tries to be too much like a desktop DAW and it destroys the touch experience with a cramped, too small UI. Cubasis has all the features you would need and the interface is designed for touch, making the experience a lot more effortless. That said midi sequencing on both is hell, so I'd recommend a control if you're going that route. This is why I hope against hope that Nanostudio finally gets the audio update they said they would do, it would make it the best DAW on iOS bar none. Knowing the devs though they'll take forever and then just package it as Nanostudio 3. :whateva:
