I still have my circuit bent seppuku flanger. I really like it! It has a randomizing lfo in there. I'll be honest, I have no control over the thing but I like the way it eats a DOD Death Metal.

The mistress and HF-2 sit nicely between chorus and flanger, especially the Boss flangers, so you're getting close to the sound you're after. Maybe start to look at chorus pedals too?

Chiming in to give an honorable mention to the polymoon. Flange / phase sandwich with a delay/feedback network in the middle. Doesn't have crazy amounts of individual control over the flange & phase (phase in particular is pretty limited) but it all works together well

sweet...was checking polymoon out the other day and couldnt make heads or tales of it..need to find better demo I suppose, sounded great..got me into watching a bunch of multi track reverse tape flange videos though...
