I dislike MOTU's customer service. I had pots go bad on my Ultralite interface and they were unwilling to sell me replacement parts, tell me the part numbers or any schematic info. And real dicks about it.

Novation on the other hand is awesome and a rep from the U.K. sent me a replacement pot for my K-Station for free, without my asking for it. I was prepared and willing to pay for one but the guy just told me they did have that part and what my address was and that's it. Really awesome.

Is this where I can publicly state that I hate buying from Sweetwater for totally petty reasons? I don't need two follow up phone calls when I buy a single pedal. Just throw the thing in a box and leave me alone.

Amen. I don't like phone calls except from people I care about.

Oh my god they're so fucking thirsty. Bruh I'm in line at the grocery store, I really don't give a shit about the new Misha Mansoor overdrive. Has anybody actually bought something just because they got a phone call?

My standard response to them is *whispers*: "oh, it's reeaaally not a good time to talk right now. alright? bye."

I use them for stuff because 48 MONTHS 0% INTEREST FINANCING ENDS MONDAY OCTOBER 2 is a hell of a drug. Wish they had better variety of stuff though. Or that somebody else would give me 48 MONTHS 0% INTEREST FINANCING ENDS MONDAY OCTOBER 2.

The first time they called me, I thought, "Hey that's pretty nice." Then they called again and again and again just to chat or something, idk. I finally asked them to stop calling me, and they've seemed to honor that policy.

You folks do realize that if you tell them to put a note on your account not to ever call you and all communication should be via email, they won't call you. That's what I did and they haven't called in years. Every now and then I just get an email from my guy checking in. Some I ignore and don't respond, and he doesn't follow up. Sometimes I respond, negotiate a deal, and order something via email without ever having to speak on the phone or order via the website. Life's not that hard to figure out. :thumb:

Well, right now I don't want to have anything to do with "water". That's a "reason". :idk:

I still get thirsty voicemails from Sweetwater and I haven't bought anything there in 4 years.

"Just let me know if you need anything"

I get it.
