Not too weird. Both are highly priced pedals for what they are. At least Toneczar has a nice aesthetic. Cornish looks like Radioshack catalog projects and really appeal to Pink Floyd / Gilmour Girlz.

I don't see the price being an issue for a lot though. I mean, some of these folks spend wayyyy more than that on euro type stuff or weird instruments. lol.
I get what you're laying down though.

You are right. How about a new answer: their fuzzes don't oscillate.

Dude. The Vault is legit the best fuzz I've ever owned, hands down. I'm going to see if I can get it to oscillate. I'll email Ed and even ask him! LOL!

I think the thing with toneczar and cornish is that it's old news and has been for a while now. Mostly ILF-wise I feel people are hyping new stuff and stuff with "weirder" functions/sounds. Correct?
Also, I feel people tend to back the "in-house" ILF-builders and builders who've a lot more media presence than those two. But maybe I'm wrong here. Just because they don't apperar in my feed doesn't mean they don't appear in anyones.

No, PanicProne, I think you're right.
While there's nothing wrong with the gear people've been mentioning (I appreciate it all), I started the thread hoping people would tell me about up-and-coming builders and stuff. I think I mistitled the thread slightly. I might change it to better reflect what I wanna be hearing from people on this subject.
I don't necessarily care about "weirder" stuff (although "weird" is definitely good too), but was looking for newer companies doing interesting things.

Pricey but, trust me, the Toneczar Openhaus is the only dirt pedal that can handle the comparison with the dist channel of a VHT Pittbull Ultralead...

So basically you want the news, but condensed for the mind of someone with an extremely limited attention span. This sounds exactly like Drumpf's intelligence briefings.

Also, maybe you should start an intern program, so you'll have someone to print out only the sections that interest you.

Saucy echorec best echorec.
I think Bugbrand is criminally underrepresented on ILF.

No, I want the stuff that's not yet news.
Not really on anyone's "on the radar" list type stuff. So, not in anybody's "intelligence briefing".
Sort of the antithesis of the "Gear preview" thread.

You know, all killer, no filler? So, yeah, exactly like Trump.
(saucy echorec = ill-informed echorec, D.o.S.)

So I posted this in the Seppuku thread (it's not that brand). I am not sure how many people know about Andy Boulous' wonderful/evil machines.
http://evilmoisture.free.fr/
I have a couple coming my way...but I pre-ordered almost two years ago at this point

.
I can't imagine they would have a lot of appeal anywhere really...even here (and that is saying something as ILF has a greater capacity for weirder things).
Even on the Special Interests forum only one dude knew about these. Andy's project is EVIL MOISTURE (I actually found out I owned two tapes by him after I ordered

)

I know Ruiner has a Sonic Forest and 12 Oscillator Drone Box and I know Ugly Nora has a machine going his way...but Electro Lobotomy doesn't seem to be posted about much
https://www.etsy.com/shop/ElectroLobotomy.
I 'almost' got something made...but then the Evil Moisture man offered to make me a synth...and then that didn't happen...and then I bought a LYRA so...all good here

.

100% agree. Although he definitely has his fan base elsewhere. Crazy how he is not making modules anymore. That spring reverb unit is tempting...if it ever gets back in stock

(granted I haven't checked in months).

Yeah, that's definitely the kinda stuff I'm lookin' for. Thank you. I mean, look at this:
