Those pickups aren't just pretty to look at. Supposedly, they're split, you can control whether the high and/or low strings are on at any given time.

Well shit, now I want them even more. Do you know if they're split in a way that I could send the low and high strings to different outputs/pedalboards? I don't know what I'd do with that, but it sounds fun.

I think there's only one output. So, no. There're definitely some old, Japanese guitars with split pickups/stereo outs though.

I'd say yes in that more than likely they are really just Pbass [Fine... Fender XII...] split coil type pickups in a neat cover..

That's probably true with just a little rewiring. Mudfuzz, you know more about this than I do.

Interesting... So to pull that off you would need something like a 51 pbass pickup or a mandolin pickup and half a mustang bass pickup

I built this up back in May, I'm really happy with it. Rosser solid ash body which I hollowed out and put a steel full-front pickguard over the chambers.
Single G&L MFD Single Coil in the bridge with a volume and 1M tone control. Super fat warmoth 12 string roasted maple neck, Sperzel tuners. Currently tuned DdAaDdGgAaDd.

That body shape reminds me of a cross between some weird Gibson and one of those Ibanez Paul Gilbert models.
Pickups & electronics look pure Strat though?
