Sounds like Matt needs to find some better quality stepped switches.

4046m and flex yes, noise box I don't think so? No idea about the other two though never even heard of them!
PLL is actually a synthesizer the fuzzy and filtery sounds come from the way the phase locking circuit reads your input signal (I think)

I think biloma is more like a crazy envelope filter. Kinda more like rattle crow than a pll. Though it could be a CMOS filter like the WASP...I've never looked.
PLL is a way to mirror an incoming signal into a square wave by comparing and adjusting a free running oscillator to the incoming signal via phase. A phase shifted signal just has its wavelength starting at a different degree of the original signal. If it is 90 degrees off phase one wave cycle starts at the peak of another wave. It compared the phase to reset/lock the oscillator.
Something like that.

I solved my PLL dilemma..... bought and built an '0415 synth' pedal kit from parasit. It's perfect! PLL toanz with 2 voices, 2 knobs - master level and mix of the 2 voices, plus 2 switches - -1/-2 octaves on voice1 and +1/+2 octaves on voice2! No dialling in your unrepeatable sound forever each time! If it had a greater variety of intervals I'd probably cream my pants. Probably the best £30ish Ive ever spent on an effect. Can't recommend it enough. On top of that it growls like a demon bastard through the mini.

Definitely the cheapest way to achieve PLL. It's kicked the bluebox off my board and stopped me wanting a Pollyanna. Hooray!

Why on earth is the Wooden Judder listed on the site right now @ £450 compared to £250 for the metal one?

WBJ could stand for Wooden Box Judder surely? £190 sounds a lot more realistic than £450. It's cool that the Judder's permanently in stock now, no pre orders or anything that screwed him last time.
I spoke to Matt last week and he was working on a batch of Glitch pedals. I don't know whether they'll be wooden/metal/available in both, though. After that it's another run of mini Judders and then hopefully some of the weirder stuff listed on his store.

He's said stuff like that for years now but nothing ever actually shows up for sale on his site.

Nothing beats a giant knob half an inch from a footswitch you'll be hitting often and sometimes frantically.
