Saw Boris today with a friend and I'm glad I found my earplugs. My friend couldn't hear anything for a solid 20 minutes after they finished.

We hung around after so he could finish his bar tab and offered to help them tear down since they asked some guys that worked there for help and they just responded with, "not my problem." But I think Wata was afraid we'd try running off with the gear or something.

They were already out of ECT's by the time we showed up.

Side note: Earth were amazing and incredibly heavy sounding. The funniest thing was watching people that were trying to head bang to a 15+ minute song that never picked up tempo.

I had so much fun at the Boston show. 4th time seeing them, and probably the best show so far. They were incredible, really. I'm very glad I remembered to bring ear plugs, as they were loud as fuck, as usual. Tried to buy a Eau Claire Thunder after the show, but they were sold out. Didn't run into D.O.S or Inconuucl, as far as I know, but maybe it'll happen at another show

Did you ride a bike to the show? I think I saw you, we were shittalking upstairs.

Nah, that wasn't me. My friend rode his bike to the show (tall dude-about 6'3ish), so that would be funny if that was him you were talking to.

Naw, I was just basing it off the description you gave, since I saw a blond Dude with a Melvins shirt pull up on a bike.

Anyone else besides CyaNitrate, pick up a Pink ECT? I'm still kicking myself for not buying one before the show (and asking if they could hold it), when they were still available. There was one on the table when I went up there, and the merch girl said it was the last one and someone had bought it. Oh well, maybe it's for the best, I mean I really don't need to be dropping $300 on another fuzz pedal that I don't need.

That was definitely the quietest I've ever seen them (three or four times?). Some of that is the room, I think. The Paradise can do that to bands. Also no Kurihara.

Jwar was itching for one, but I don't think they played his town yet.

You should still be able to get the Black Boris ECT directly from Dwarfcraft, if you really want one.

Or, PeteeBee just put up a standard issue in BST... for half of what I paid.

Yup they cancelled tonight as well. Refunds are being given already. It sucks he's sick. It sucks they aren't playing.

So, earth was pretty good but dylan played thru the smallest combo I've ever seen on a stage. My dude, just ask on social media and people would trip over themselves to bring amps for you to play through.

The local support act the venue found was total goof troop. They had some cool original moments but also a song where it was like "what if I change two notes to dragonaut by sleep but play it the exact same way?". That's cheating bro, dont do that.
