@echorec
I was talking about tom. And the art, even if you don't like it, is clearly professionally produced. You can go on about firing the graphic designer or whatever nonsense but that doesn't change the fact that its solid design work. Your negative opinion doesn't mean that it doesn't follow the rules of product. Granted, I don't particularly care for the art, but I also am not the kind of person to write coca-cola if I don't like their limited addition bottles

reminder: a high post count on a web forum does not make you "somebody"

Yes. It. Does.
(It makes me somebody who doesn't otherwise have a life.)

When it's not, doesn't stop me from buying it if the price is right and the sound is good.
And most of the market the folks are gunning for aren't typography hipsters or art students.
They just want it to stand out on the shelf of stuff (good or bad), draw in attention, and be functional I expect.
I'm honestly getting in the same boat lately.
I'm digging the less showy stuff and the more simple designs. Meaning I stopped caring about the visual side as much. I do appreciate beautiful art though and think it's great when it's on a pedal and it suits it well. Like my Stone Fly Two Headed Werewolf. For whatever reason that graphics and name just fits that sucker so well and I love it!
I also love my Boss pedals. In fact I love Boss. They rule and so does Digitech.

I'm still perplexed by the Digitech Ventura Vibe. I can't figure out what that clown has to do with anything. Is it supposed to be "Jester Ventura" like a bad wrestler pun?

If anyone wants me to care more about Digitch then they are going to have to make a doodle pedal with a Buzzbox into a Meatbox and call it the brown note. Just say'n… other than that… I'm not big on any pedal that looks like a kid scribbled on it… [cough ZVEX etc]

I'm gonna say my White Fretless T-40 with a black pickguard is super tasteful, but if i could get that finish on it, i would. Fuck it. Time to look like the cross breed of a teen mall goth girl and someone's faux-trippy cosmos art. That's my new aesthetic.

What even is this supposed to b? It almost crosses the line into cool because of how Angelfire website ugly it is.
Also, Angelfire fansite with Frames aesthetic has come back super hard in the last few years, and i kind of love it. It reminds me of my days in the 5th grade trolling Redwall RPing message boards and Yaoi fan pages. I would rock an entire pedal board of angelfire aesthetic pedals with pictures of KawoShin and gay anime ships.

What if the kid actually did scribble on it ala Fuzzrocious?
