What microphone is this?

Found this last year in the basement of my building in an old suitcase full of some photography equipment someone was throwing out. I stuck a new XLR jack on there with some solder and gaffers tape and it works just fine. I tried a couple nerdy microphone enthusiast websites but no one had any idea what it was. Best someone came up with was that it probably part of some sort of off-brand PA system. There's no identifying info anywhere, inside or out.

Looks like an AKG D-1000e to me, but the tip of the windscreen doesn't look quite the same (could be a photography thing). I definitely think it has a cardioid dynamic look.

Thanks, yeah, thought it might be an AKG. Was unsure of the model.

I thought AKG too and like Curtis, d1000 was my first guess...but it looks slightly different. It could be one of those AKG made for somebody else (with slightly different looks). Or a d1200e/c (pretty dang close looking).

Most punk photos from the 1970s and 1980s across the Atlantic always seem to have AKG haha.

3 AKG D12 or some kind of ribbon or condenser mic look alike?
