Thanks for the tips team, that's about what I was thinking
Only thing is the price is pretty disparate between them over here
Will just wait a while I think

God fucking damn it, I finally caved and watched Minilogue demos. Anyone here get one yet? Tell me they're crappy and this hole synthesizer thing will never stick, and I should play a sensible instrument like accordion or saxophone.

Here is a copy paste of some first impressions from my new synth day thread on another forum. I'll try and do a more in depth review later, and maybe some ifail clipage

Couldnt help myself, with the features this thing has and its price point I had to get one. Does not disappoint. The polyphony is great to have, and it's got a sequencer as well. It sounds pretty different from my Moog sub Phatty, which is good. They seem to compliment each other quite nicely. The Moog is a bit "sweeter" soundingin certain regards, but the korg is killing it for more modern and out there sounds. It comes with 100 presets and 100 more blank patch spaces. And the Presets actually sound pretty decent for the most part surprisingly.

Design is sleek and its very portable/light. The construction isn't as solid as my sub Phatty, but that was to be expected. Still pretty solid. I do worry that one day I might bust off the pitch stick, but we shall see

Oh and the oscilloscope is fucking awesome

This things seriously kick ass, glad I jumped on it

Sweetwater has a no-minimum purchase, zero-percent, 36-month offer going right now. I have to keep telling myself that $14 a month isn't so bad, but the money I'm already paying for pedal purchases from last year will not cooperate with this offer.

At least you've got yours. "will ship in 7-14 business days" is a bastard of a 7 year itch.

Now i am tryna decide if my tax return goes to a minilogue or my old MKS-50 that got stolen. Synths are worse than pedals.

Well, a lot of other places are probably selling an MS-20 right? You just gonna order again?

I still want one of these and was itching close, then last night my friend was like "Yea I'm thinking of selling my Juno-106 for $500" so looks like I still won't be getting one of these.

Will probably get a minilogue down the line when you can get them used for less (or next month when my tax return comes), but it is ludicrous how pumped i am for the Volca FM.
