I tend to buy gear from bigger companies (much cheaper) but I don't know anything about the ethics of their figureheads and its never something I've even considered looking into. Is everyone just a way more socially conscious buyer than I am?
Google.

Yeap. We couldn't even get through one page

But who cares right? I'm going to go get my crayons and klons and have some real fun!

LOL at this thread.

I think the guy from EHX and JHS are doing each other right now laughing about how much money they are going to make.

Maybe they'll collab like JHS and Keeley just did and have a lovely abortion of a pedal come out.

Too much?

Seriously though. The JHS hate is WELL founded. Not only is JHS run by a douche canoe, but they use God as a way to sell their pedal and the fucking lie about doing it. Horseshit guys. I live 15 minutes away from their office and personally know the founding members of the Ihop church (in fact one is my Uncle!!). I've met Josh, he sucks, his personality is that of a shoe, and he's ugly. I mean, that alone would be reason enough to not buy from him. Not even bringing in to account his crappy designs and aesthetics. Seriously, they have the lamest fucking graphics ever.

Plus isn't he a gingy? Aren't gingers like related to the devil or whatever? Isn't that kind of a conflict of interest here?

:)

Well this is a) subjective and b) completely unfounded. If there was one good thing about the company it would be their aesthetics.

Anyway.

I can see why you guys hate JHS, it's just like... people are not bad people because they like or bought a JHS pedal. Not everybody falls into the whole ethical consumer demo, in the first place. I do. I haven't eaten KFC, tuna, or shrimp, not that I paid for, anyway, in over a decade. But if I avoided everything I wanted to avoid... I wouldn't be able to buy anything. Seriously. I tried a palm oil boycott for about a week before giving in. I could lie and say it was because I read that if we cut down our palm dependence, we'd have to use soy, and soy is just as bad, but... nah. It was just too hard to avoid. I'll take care of the tuna, and you guys take care of the JHS. I can't boycott everything.

I have no doubt that you heckled everybody who bought Kraft Dinner in the 2000s when it was owned by Altria a.k.a. Philip Morris with the same passionate intensity with which you goad me on to suicide now. No doubt.

Dude their graphics are fucking lame. How could that be their highlight?

Also ethics aside, since this not what maters...there are way better options for better prices for almost everything they offer. So why even bother?

The EHX graphics are a definite improvement over some of the other stuff they've put out recently. But, yeah, otherwise these are kinda boring.
