I don't even have the energy to Google image search a .gif of the maid from Family Guy saying, "No, no, no."

The one that came out really recently, or Division Bell?

I love Floyd, but anything after the wall has always been meh to me. I like Division Bell but it's certainly not great. I don't even have any interest in the newest one.
Beach Boys' Pet Sounds > Beatles
Must. Bite. Tongue.

Earthling/Outside was the best Bowie era.

Closer was a better Joy Division album than Unknown Pleasures by a long shot.

Speaking of The Beatles, The White Album is possibly their worst album. It's just very regressive given their progress as a group. Lennon is the worst solo (ok, not including Ringo, whom I do enjoy).

The last one. The one that came out recently :idk: Division Bell really isn't as bad as people make it

please do  As much as I believe there's a Beatles track for everyone, as a whole I've not liked them since I can remember. If you start argumenting (jesus how I'm glad casecandy does not defend Beatles) I'll just come off as ignorant, despite the possible quality of said arguments.

Oh no, it has far more to do with my burning passionate hatred for Pet Sounds.

There are a few gems in their discography, but overall.... meh.

Off The Wall is the best Michael Jackson album.

Re: The Beatles, The White Album just suffers from double-album bloat. Strip away the filler and the remaining songs are their best album, second only, maybe, to Abbey Road.

Re: John Lennon solo, yes, he was "the worst," if you exclude Ringo from the running (although Ringo's solo career wasn't nearly as meritless as most people presume it to be). It goes George Harrison > Paul McCartney > John Lennon. John's best album was the "Primal Scream" album (John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band). After that he got bogged down in dated political crap like "Imagine" (and far worse; witness "Woman Is The [EDITED] of the World") but still had dozens of great singles.

Obviously... and I mean, OBVIOUSLY... All Things Must Pass is the best Beatles solo album. Wanky third LP and all.

Macca/Wings had good ones, too. Ram, McCartney, McCartney II, Band on the Run, and especially London Town. There are no songs on Band on the Run that aren't at least good.

yeah if you don't actually look at the tracklist of the album that might be true.

Wings are, self-evidently, garbage. When you say that "most of the songs on the album are, at worst, good", it implies that you don't actually know what any of the songs on the album are... because none of them are good (not even that faux-reggae section in the title track), and anyone who's listened to that LP knows that.

I will never run out of ways to disagree with things that are wrong, because of the nature of reading things that are incorrect elicits a visceral reaction. Since I can't share my actual responses to your posts (vomit, tears for humanity, and disbelief, variously) I have to avail myself of the written word.
