I can tell you here, having never vistited HC, basically, Zvex was a fucker to Bobby D I beleive it was? (could be wrong) but anyway everyone got pissed off with the eliteist mods and admins sideing with Zvex who was Horrible to all his customers and competitors and so the rightfully annoyed mods came here where we can just be a friendly community of fuzz lovers, I think that sums it up, although I accept I may be wrong in places.

I'll tell you exactly what's wrong with HC, a bad atmosphere breeds a bad atmosphere..... people start getting attacked, people attack back..... people talk shit, people correct them, they attack them because they don't like being wrong, people attack back because they don't like being attacked. There's a culture of 'trying to get people banned' rather than a culture of supporting each other, there's a culture of 'you don't have this, you aren't worthy' rather than encouraging to be creative with what they have/can afford. I'm getting very depressed with it at the moment, there's a small group of people that I get on with very well.....but there is also many many people that I don't really care to spend my time talking to.

It is a bit juvenile over there. Even the "philosophical" discussions reek of freshman year at college. But that's the internet for you. And I prefer the immaturity over there to the general dullness of TGP. At least things seem fresh.

I do agree that the materialism and super-pro-capitalist attitudes on the board are rather distressing (is this what all kids are like these days? I'm not that far removed from my youth, but it seemed like everyone my age was "fuck the system" and "property is theft" back then).

But it's still one of the best forums around. This forum is promising, and I hope it grows, but right now, it just doesn't have the breadth of HC, and there aren't enough contributors to keep things interesting for me. It's sad that Bobby D and Newark feel like leaving because they're good forumites, but if HC is making you crazy then I guess there's no reason to keep exposing yourself to it. I figure one of these days I'll leave as well (though it will probably be when I'm just bored with effects in general, rather than an issue with the forum itself). But, don't take it too seriously. It's just the internet, it's not even real.

my main issue at this point is the fact that i returned, tried to get back to normal, and was immediately attacked both personally and professionally by several members there. and neither PHIL or ANDERTON did SHIT......just let it go on. there were several members who should have been temp banned at the least.

whatever.

my OTHER main issue is CONTENT. many of the posters there have VERY LITTLE to contribute other than snarky little insults at each other. why allow that to continue?

VEX himself adds NOTHING to the forum. show me some posts where he helps someone UNLESS it is specifically HIS BRAND. even then, he's a dick.

so why should i bother being "hall monitor" at junior high school HCFX, with no "real" mod powers, and putting up with daily shit from those forumites?

and FUCK crxsh too.....i saw the post he wrote about me. it was HIS FUCKING THREAD that started all this shit. fuck you, THUMBS MCGEE. :bob:

anybody ELSE need a FUCK YOU? i'm handing them out DAILY and NIGHTLY

HCFX is serious like high school...better yet, high school sports. High school locker rooms.

I know I've publicly stayed very silent on all this. But I'll stand strong by Bobby D and people like him, because I completely understand why he feels that way.

I didn't mind zvex's silly attacks one bit (maybe I'll hit 50 AB-Synths soon! haha)...what did make me angry was seeing WORTHWHILE, CONTRIBUTING forumites--GOOD PEOPLE--get attacked so badly. The people who actually offer something there were the ones most hurt by all of that.

thank you Tommy. and i am sorry that this is getting aired out on YOUR forum. :(

it really makes me sad, i enjoyed HCFX and meeting many of the people there. but i'm done with it.

besides, it gave me some nice songwriting material for my new album, which is really gonna be AWESOME, i hope.....

and that ab-synth is gonna come in handy, cause i am REALLY gonna get FREAKY with it on my new album. :bob:

Sadly Robo speaks the truth...but that says more about hcfx in my opinion.

At least we can agree on how HCFX works.

But this is ILF.

'nuff's been said by everyone.

Love you, guys! Muah!
