it took putting it in a few different guitars, but i found the perfect home for the WILDMEN (that is a seriously dumb name for a pickup, btw.
).
the description is pretty accurate in that is very girthy in the low mids & somewhat mellow in the highs. i have a heavily modded baritone (it's a DOUGLAS branded guitar from Rondo) that has a HUUUUGE sounding GFS Surf 90 in the neck, but everything i've tried in the bridge seems puny in comparison. until now.
i am hoping to use this particular guitar for a recording project soon, so i'll post some clips sometime in the near future (hopefully).
