I mean, the bible isn't exactly clear on homosexuals. And I don't see most (or any?) Christians doing that. Point being: Assholes have asshole opinions based on being assholes (and bad upbringing etc.), not because they have faith. Any worldview can be used to defend being an asshole if you're already an asshole. Etc.

Agreed. On the other hand, I don't think that this thread is inherently unfriendly (although it got that way pretty quickly, reading through it). I actually prefer to know things like this, for reasons that are largely similar to retinal orbit's posts -- unsurprisingly, at this point, I'm pretty much on his page. Same with Dr. Ryan Scientist -- and I don't think the right approach is to shift the conversation, as has been suggested by some near and dear breaux.

Anyway, I'm not buying one of Jwar's pedals until he makes one without a clean blend. I put much more stock in that then in any religious beliefs.

incidentally, it's interesting to see what people post and where they're located.

Just turn the clean blend off!
