Blimey, I thought Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl Vibrato/Chorus would be expensive, but it costs 379 EUROs. Yeah, I think I'll be giving that a miss. My rule of thumb is that if a pedal costs more than a Squire guitar then the pedal is way too much - regardless of how great it might be.

Ah, but if you're not Michael Angelo Battio you're not going to get chorus out of a guitar.

I don't understand that reference, sorry. I'd never heard of that Michael Angelo Battio until recently so I looked him up on youtube. He's a right twat.

Probably just a name.

That's awesome.
univalve wrote:Can we stop talking about the chase bliss. I don't want to buy it.
I do wanna buy it. That's the problem.
Although, what I'm really looking for is simple modulation. I've found I really don't get the most out of what complex pedals have to offer. Really.

Yeah, that's exactly the problem.

Yeah, that is the problem, isn't it?

Syl, I just looked on the Guitar Fetish website. It's made in China and cheap as dirt (no pun intended). I wonder if it can be modded for a manual control?

I love "demos" that're over 50% talking:

It was just me saying that no amount of Squire guitars is going to get you a chorus sound, unless of course you play two handed on a double necked guitar. But that's going to cost a fair bit more than a Squire. And you'd have to practise with your wrong hand a lot.
Considering what's in the Warped Vinyl, I think it's pretty reasonably priced.

I wouldn't doubt it.
I usually don't pay much attention to the Chinese manufactured/lower end of the market. I'll do some investigating.
Although, from the sound of that demo, it's nothing too spectacular sounding. Not bad for the price though.
EDIT: I just looked. I might prefer the Biyang. It's four knob, has a manual control. I'll have to listen to some demos.

Biyang is actually pretty legit, more so than joyo or any of the others.

So, what's the consensus on this, still the Warped Vinyl?

There's too much hype on this pedal.

Sounds pretty good in all the demos.
