Not on a board but I did line up all my pedals the other day for a group shot.

So you may be able to answer a question I've been pondering....what happens when the Tube Zipper meets the Polychorus?

This was worth pondering I just spent some time downstairs figuring out. I was favoring the more extreme settings but it was giving me a pretty wild range of sounds. My favorite I'd describe sort of as a monster truck rally in outer space, I wish I'd noted the settings but I was having a little too much fun twisting the knobs. Lots of good atmospheric type sounds, some lasers, some banshee type wails. I'd say it's probably a little more "useful" with the tube zipper going into a regular just delay.

Aw, no psychedelia setup with the rotovibe and all?
Maybe it's a good thing, people might still be angry about that genre after Wolfmother raped it and sold its soul in a Bill Hicks-joke manner.

What's the woodpainted zvex in the middle?

the signal goes
Morley Bad Horsie Wah (visible just at the edge of the shot) - pretty new, and the switchless function has instantly become a important tool
AMZ Mini-boost - this is to goose the rest of my chain if needed, or to boost the output when i switch to quieter pickups
tube screamer clone 1 - modded for extra lows, very asymmetrical clipping with a mix of silicon and germanium diodes
tube screamer clone 2 - based on the CJOD, but with an additional mosfet in the clipping section for asymmetry
devi ever usa rocket - well, that's why we're all here, isn't it?
skreddy pedals mayo - with the 'flat mids' option. the best big muff sound i've ever played
red llama clone - probably my current "main" drive pedal. not too hi gain, the prefect balance between overdrive and fuzz
AMZ Mini-boost - for solo boosting.

this goes to the next case
Image
Boss Line selector*
Guyatone MC3 micro chorus - for fast, warbly sounds. this actually boosts the low end a bit unlike most choruses.
CE2 chorus clone - indispensable. the CE2 is the best chorus i've ever heard. this one has all the booteek options, metal film resistors, WIMA caps, etc. and it's built by ME.
Guyatone FL3 micro flanger - i probably don't like this as much as my old Boss BF2, but i definitely like it more than the MXR EVH Flanger i had.
MXR EVH Phase 90 - it took me a while to get used to this after playing with a Boss phaser for so long, but i've come to enjoy its chewiness.
Visual Sound h20 chorus and delay - the chorus isn't quite as thick as the CE2, but it's a good alternate. the delay is set for longer echo.
Boss DD3 digital delay - shorter delay, but not quite 'slap-back.'
Boss DC3 Digital Dimension- the icing on the cake. always on.

*yes, the TU2 tuner is in the line selector's loop. is that a bit redundant? yes. i've had some issues with the TU2 causing volume loss or drop outs in my signal, and since i haven't gotten around to replacing it, or building a true bypass box, it works otherwise, and i happened to have that Line selector handy... anyway, i'll eventually either build a TB box or get one of those new korg pitch black tuners...

Heres what I have:
Image
Devi Ever Bit Fuzz: you gotta love the custom chewbacca on hoth artwork. This is a very fun pedal to use. I used to break it out live when my old band covered foxy lady, and it was supremely awesome. I use it alot in conjuntion with other pedals for wall of noise stuff. It likes boosters, they make the gate hold back a little before "velcroing out."

Digitech Bass Synth Wah: fun for weird noise. in conjution with the BIT fuzz, it can sound like a chainsaw revving up and cutting down a tree, as well as other strange noises.

AKAI headrush e2 delay/looper: my favorite pedal. having a looper is super helpful when you're trying to write a song with multiple guitar parts and no knowledge of music theory. I havent used it live yet, but the posibilities make me excited. plus the delay is pretty nice.

Monte Allums modded Boss Metal Zone: LED clipping, diode lift, and germanium transistor, (i think) selectable with switch. very versatile. a staple of my setup.

BBE Freq Boost: I love it with my LP which has pretty dark p-ups and my peavey delta blues with the big 1x15. Not so much with a strat or tele, though.

Crybaby GCB95 wah: standard issue, nothing special. Sounds decent.

Behringer SlowMotion: Okay. Supposed to be a clone of the boss slow gear. It has its uses, especially in conjuntion with the AKAI.

Danelectro Chicken Salad Vibrato: Cool for adding chewiness to cleans, but I dont use it anymore and can't find any cool bends inside it.

Not pictured: circuit bent danelectro fab overdrive and digitech RP 80 multieffects: used together as a random freakout noise generator. my old drummer told me that the two can sound like the soundtrack for metriod prime.

Thanks! It was originally going to be a vintage fuzz master, and going along with the wookie graphic, that would have made the most sense. I was craving a BIT though at the time, and chose that instead. My old band's other guitarist was scared to use it. Perhaps if I can afford more in the future, I will continue the theme. Chewie is perhaps the fuzziest thing ever, so I think its a pretty natural fit.
