FWIW the ps2 is my absolute favourite sounding delay ever. If I could get something like that with a tap tempo I'd buy two and flip everything else.

- Behringer Echo Machine. Maybe my fav reverse sound at any price, stereo I/O for weird routing, feedback looping, etc.
- Oddball Alesis stuff, esp ModFX and Ineko. Ineko! half dozen delays plus space and reverse reverb, tape noise emulators, filters, ring mods, sub octave decimator action.
- Anything with a feedback/insert loop. Minivan, etc.

This, the tape mode also sounds great, dark and chewy

Had some serious fun with this today. Does everything from gentle drones to the harshest of harsh noise walls.

All this talk of drum machines made me whip out the ol' zoom rt-234. It has been fun and will definitely be used more for this.
