That's a collection of sentiments that screams "I know very little about hip hop musicians who aren't designed by committee cack."

Maybe what he should do is produce someone who's more talented on the lyrical side of things. Like what Trent Reznor did with Saul Williams (that record is fucking amazing by the way)

Nah, the problem is that it's all I know and because Kanye is pretty much the antithesis of what I like in hip-hop I automatically assumed he was a talentless hack. I stand corrected I guess. Still think he's shit though.

My problem is Kanye's insufferable and way too high on himself.
His rhyme style has always sounded cheesy-from-effort (and boring) to my ear,
But he does know how to throw together a catchy arrangement...

That said, he's a narcissist and "legend in one's own mind" with a god complex...and will die believing he tops the list of "Greatest MCs" when he doesn't even belong in the top 20.

Ulver - Messe I.X-VI.X
October Falls - The Plague of a Coming Age
Summoning - Old Mornings Dawn
Nero di Marte - s/t

The new Ulver is fantastic. These others are also quite good.

Thanks to those of you who included Whores' new record in your lists.

It really means a lot to me.

Forgot this one:

10-ish listens in and I think I finally started to get it. Best at night, driving on deserted roads, and played loudly.

Slowly removing my head from my arse.
