Got my CD the other day, played it in the car and finally made it all the way through. My favorite tracks are the last 4. I'm starting to put together my jamz for September, it's shaping up to be totally different from Skully's disc but there should be something for everyone.

So, I had this album playing in my car the other day, and my wife asked where on earth I got it. When I told her that skully made it, she thought for a minute then said:

"Well, he's a really nice guy, but I'm not sure I'd let him pick the music for a road trip."

Absolutely cracked me up.

hahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

My wife doesn't like listening to my music when she is driving either. She said 'your music 90% of the time has no words and makes me sleepy, no matter how heavy it is. Can we please put on *insert rap artist*

 :doom:

i am fucking picky as hell when it comes to rap / hip hop, but that statement makes me want to make a mix of nothing but that to try to save you both...

 Your wife says it makes her sleepy, I say its a trance like state from tuning out everything but the noise.

Something tells me Dr Dooom, MF Doom, Dan the Automator, etc... may go over her head. I gave up on trying to convince people there is far more interesting music beyond the radio.

Hahaha I get in the trance too!

And I haven't introduced her to the mighty DOOM yet, although I think she'd probably like him. She really just like beat oriented music, I think

When someone says they listen to rap, top 40/radio enters my mind :picard:
