Yes it really sucks and I feel sad and angry because of it. Not only because of the money but because I was kind of attached to my Rev 2. The new DX doesn't have 2 octaves down and I used that a lot. Going from 7th mode to 8th and throwing the same loop 2 octaves down. You can hear that in the clip from my previous post. Don't think the DX can do that because there is the full stop on that place (?). Also Piotr adjusted some small things on my Rev 2 so I never can get that back. I wish I had send it 'signed' or with tracking but that was very expensive for such a small package. Now I can only hope that it shows up somewhere but I don't think it will.

depends on the mode.

Yes, but the DX doesn't have 2 octaves down anymore. Not sure why Piotr dropped that. I liked that. With the Rev 2 I could switch to the 8th modes and keep the speed knob in the same position (middle position dead zone) and then the loop went from unison to two octaves down. Now there is the full stop in that 'dead zone' and also there is no 2 octaves down at all.

Sounds like 2 octaves down right before the full stop to me, but I haven't checked it with a tuner.

Mine arrived yesterday. The manual states one octave down in Ping Pong, Random Direction, and Stop-2x modes. There is a lot going on in this pedal, have to wrap my head around it still. Every mode has different speed control and capture functuons, some similar yet still quite different.

A distributor in north america would be great.

If I remember correctly, he has stated that he doesn't want to get bigger. He seems content with just building small batches and various custom orders.

Alright! I'm on the list for a Revolver DX and Vario!!! He said 3-4 months, which is PERFECT. Will give me plenty of time to save. Plus I'm getting the Vario with a latching switch instead of momentary. I think it would be better that way IMO.
Both will cost me roughly 535, but new and it's cheaper than used. God people are nuts sometimes with prices. I don't mind waiting for awesome stuff.

Awesome stuff, jwar. Personally, I don't see why you would need a Vario, or an expression pedal for that matter. I think LG agrees with me on that one. Doesn't really add anything useful as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and regarding the waiting list, he might email you if someone bails on payment. That' what happened to me. I was given a 3-4 month waiting period but someone bailed and I got it in 2 months time.

Good to know about the bail time!
The videos I watched about the Vario made it seem like a must have. I guess I'll find out! LOL! If not, I'm sure it will be a very easy flip.
I'm super excited about pairing the Hexe with my Ezhi and Aka stuff. I'm going to have an absolutely INSANE board. LOL

Holy shit. That E&A order just blows my mind, haha!
Yeah, I mean, I could be very wrong. You might absolutely love it! I just didn't see the appeal for the Vario myself. Different strokes for different folks etc.

Vario is fun and all (I have the latching too), but it will already ramp up depending on the position of the speed knob. The vario will just let let you ramp down or back up again without resampling. I just would rather resample I guess. The fun of the revolver is the constant, easy resampling and looping....then again I don't really like playing slow enough to let a 300ms delay breathe haha.
The carrier has a very similar setup for controlling the carrier or carrier modulation except that it is momentary and it will ramp/fall when you hold it for kind of a scanning tune and I think it can be reset easily...all the switches have hold/tap functions that I can't remember right now (even the fuzz to turn octave on/off). I think the vario idea is much better implemented on the carrier.
I could really see the vario being useful as a more looper control in music with space for it to shine, but it isn't the way I usually use it.
