It is pretty simple, which I don't mind at all. It has enough tools to get the job done. Maybe, if my recording becomes more serious I would consider another DAW but there really is nothing wrong with MT DAW at all.
Cool. Thanks for the info.

MT DAW worth the money? I found GB simple and straight forward. Didn't have good sound quality but I didn't expect since I was using the ipad mic to record in garage band. My focustrite itrack interface will be here Saturday I think. Ill see if I need something better than GB after that.
Anyone check out Auria? Cubase? Expensive but I could see them being worth the money if they're good.

I think it is worth the $10. I got it because it is Audiobus compatible. Not crucial but it can make recording a couple tracks at once quick like a drum machine and synth part. It saves all of the exporting, copying/pasting.. etc with other Audiobus compatible apps.

Personally I'd rather still do complex mixing on the computer and quick and dirty mixing on the iPad. I think Auria and Cubasis are overkill. They definitely have their place but for my workflow and like Delta pointed out, something simple with Audiobus compatibility is the way to go.

that's what's REALLY annoying about the lightning port on the iphone5 and the ipad3.5/4, whatever they're calling the newest one. there's some cool accessories that are for the og apple dock connector, hardly anything for the lightning thinger.
apple are such dicks. absolutely no reason except for nickel and diming people that are already spending $500-$700 on pads/fones.
pure. dickery.
also, i love the site

well, the lightning being omnidirectional is pretty cool. and the Big Pin Sex Hole WAS a mad dirt collector. but yeah. they could have gone with the Micro USB like fucking everybody else ever uses. asses.
the 3 (the one i have) is still a Pin Bot, the newest one (i dunno if it's the 3.5 or the 4? it's not that much different than the 3.) has lightning.
BLEGH.

Pissed me off that my ipad bought new in July was the current updated newest one. And within six months 2 more versions came out and made mine outdated! Wtf

Yea, my is really not that different. It's just obnoxious cause now the resale is down. And the feeling of having outdated stuff. I kno its materialistic but its nice to have the newest thing for a bit.

Go in with the mindset that what you buy now will be obsolete or close to it in 6months. That's always been the case with electronics, usually. Enjoy what you have. I hear you though that it is nice to have the latest and greatest for at least a little while.
