I don't seem to but relevant to this thread in the sense that small builders across multiple areas of expertise have the same issues, and I've seem them crop up time and time again.

I suppose I could have mentioned the times I've waited an extra year for a small press book to come out to save the children from guns.

SPACERITUAL wrote:Wait you expect shitty customer service and lack of integrity? Commissions coming in late and over budget speaks only of poor planning and lack of experience on the part of a commissioned body. I dont know what firearm company youre talking about but running over budget on a custom piece is unacceptable. Have you ever ordered a custom firearm? As of the last....four years? Time quotes arent even given in 90% of cases and universally 50% is due upon start of build, locking in your price.

Over budget on small builds, when it's an estimate, like happened on my last big buy from a NFA builder in Utah, happens. I was willing to spend the $$$ for the item, am happy with the end result, and well, presto. I'd rather spend the bucks, get what I want, and get out with a good product.

Time quotes have always been given from anyone I'm willing to do business with, at least in general estimation - the best builders simply close the waiting list when they get too busy like Azex used to.

And I've paid deposits ranging from handshake to paid in full depending on the builder, my relationship with them, et cetera.

Obviously though the market's changed radically since I ordered my last one in 2007 and had it delivered in '09, damn all that evil purchasing and waiting and ordering in the two decades prior doesn't amount to anything.

Good troll though.

Why does plhogan only seem to come around when there's a Devi thread to bitch in?

Can you describe the routing/mixing on the III?

There is a switch that switches between full parallel, 2 and 3 parallel with 1 in series after them, 2 and 3 parallel with 1 in series before them, and then all in series.

Instead of a mix knob it has three volume controls for each channel that are only engaged during parallel operations.

:joy:

As always, thanks to my good friend Ken, the genius @ Infanem for the beautiful engineering work!

God damn it. Those are some fucking sweet routing options. & the separate volume controls is awesome, too.
I THOUGHT I WAS SAFE. & NOW I WANT ONE.

Can't wait for this since so many other things Devi promises actually happen.
