It's pretty cool. I've only messed around a bit at home through a shitty practice amp. It has a bunch of low end. I'm gonna try it out tonight through the big rigs. I need another fuzz like i need another asshole right now.

Sweet Score!!!! I love mine. The superfuzz side is so heavy sounding. Also as huge as this pedal is, it's deceivingly light weight, and if you put it in the front row, you'll need a riser for any pedals behind it, and as I found out it is wider then the biggest PT riser, by atleast 3 inches. Luckily I can fit all my back row pedals on the riser.

Does your octave knob on the back do anything? I have noticed too much from it.

It's supposed to help set/tailor the octave sound in the SF. I doubt it has a huge effect, but couldn't say for sure...I assume it was put on the back for a reason, kind of set and forget.

Mine seems to control the splatteryness of the octave on the SF side. I keep it full CCW if your looking at the back, sounds the best IMO at that setting. full CW and mine gets splattery, if you don't notice it doing much at all open it up and see if any of the pcb traces are burnt up, the one to look for goes from the bottom left of the left pcb up the side and then to the right along the top. It's not an uncommon problem with these :picard:
