I've got both a Bass VI and an Excelsior. They sound nice together but I'm still somewhat worried about the bass
Actually now that I think about it the only times I was really worried was when I paired it with a SS/BS Buzzz......octave fuzz + Bass VI = pretty much just playing a bass
Still if you're going to mod it for a Bass VI I'd get a new speaker more suitable for bass frequencies.
I honestly just assumed down because its so damned heavy

I guess I'm talking about the lower harmonics and sub-frequencies
I love this amp. Right now my bandmate is using it, but with three inputs I'd love to do solo lo-fi shows by plugging guitar, vox, and drum loops through it,
