Man, the thought of a trans orange ASAT Special w/ matching headstock, maple board and bigsby makes me... just... hng.

Man, those ARE a couple of beauts! Always been a sucker for a good 'burst/trans finish. If I'm not mistaken, there's a local guit shop 'round here with a Swamp Ash tri-burst Bluesboy. AAAAAND I should be seein' mah tax refunds fairly soon...Unless I get a BC Rich Mockingbird instead...

Another one I used to own: my really early ASAT, dated October '87.
This must have been a pretty early one, basically everything on it was exactly the same as on the Broadcaster, save for the non-painted headstock.

Oh man that is awesome. I love my ASAT Classic, but I do sometimes think that I made the wrong decision not getting a Special. Oh well, one day I'll have both.
