Here's my thoughts. I really enjoyed both pedals and had fun playing with them. They both sounded great on bass guitar, which was a pleasant surprise. Not a lot of low end loss, if any. The Gnome gives a thick, crazy fuzz that is almost synthy. The And Aardvark was a very clean and great sounding overdrive/boost. Loved the way it worked. At the end of the day I found the Gnome to be a bit overwhelming. To get anything that I really liked, I had to tweak the shit out of every single knob. Which is fine if you like doing that sort of thing, but I'm generally lazy and like a pedal that has very few knobs. Less thinking involved on my part I suppose. But like I said, I love the And Aardvark and would buy that one in the future. Not so sure about the Gnome though.

you can find your favorite setting on the VTF than buy a mini gnome that will do it! thats my plan.

Got them today. Thoughts,

Gnomerton - Took me a good half an hour to figure out how to use it and even then I had to keep looking at the directions. Its a neat pedal but definitely not for me. Too complex. I would feel guilty for only using on setting on it which is why I like simpler 2 and 3 knob fuzz pedals and just stacking those. The finish was cool too. My favorite setting was a thick gated fuzz with a distorted texture. Can't really explain it. The pedal was a lot smaller than I had pictured it. I though it was going to be big muff sized,

And Aardvarks! - Liked it a lot. Would definitely buy it and use it as an overdrive. Loved running fuzzies through it. favorite setting was top mode with volume and gain maxed and tone at noon.
