Nah. I had originally had a set of Lava Cable solderless janx, but they proved to be shit. So I've been buying my cables from Mammoth Electronics. They're solid as fuck and by far my favorite

Yeah I love those style jacks
they give you extra space plus if they are repairable

I went into GC a few days ago looking and was told I didn't want them

I was amused because it was the same kid who a few weeks ago didn't want to take a distortron in a trade because the one knob crackled (the one that says crackle OK)

yeah it sucks, they have a peavey Heritage VTX I really want to snag, I know I gotta do some swapping, I keep walking in hoping that kid isn't there.

I never thought to look for cables on Mammoth's site. I always just bought knobbies and jacks from them

I think it was a 12 pack, so it made 6 cables for $89 bucks and they sucked. Mammoth's cables only come in one size, but they are only $3.90 a piece and are built really really well!

Yeah, those are slightly cheaper than ones I've found elsewhere.

I've just sold all my lava cables - I hate them. Going to solder my own. Fun...

what's up with all the Lava hate? I've never owned one, but what's the beef w/ them? signal loss? breaking? i'm thinking about getting a coily cable...but...
