Not a million miles off completing the rack. I don't mean like, forever hahaha but I am going to take a deliberate buying break after I fill my hps.

i'm excited about the Clank Chaos when it gets here, i added a pair of Voltage Blocks and a Varigate 4plus, but besides that.... i feel really solid modular wise? i mean. i know New Shinies are nigh irresistible, but i'm happy.
want to sort workflow now.

at 18.40 in - i love the modules like Melodicer that do that, i kinda hate the interface for them in modular format.

I've got a Beads on the way, somehow lucked into a shop with stock on Reverb the other morning. Never played around with granular so I'm curious to see what it'll lead to. Every demo so far makes it seem like a dream machine; put anything into it, get beautiful sounds out.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for better demos of the Metropolix. Not a fan of Loopop's style and that's the only real demo so far. It may be more tempting to pick up a cheap Metropolis instead. I miss that module a lot lately.

lol. just wait a few weeks till Mylar makes it sound better than it really is?
i have such a love/hate with that thing. i loooove the idea, i love using it for... 12 minutes? then the oddness of it becomes more annoying than endearing.
i'm a curmudgeonly old man though.
but. if it ends up in black? i'll tryyyyyyy one.

Welp, I am jumping back on the modular bandwagon

Put in an order for the next batch of the Clank Chaos thanks to Hainbach and a few other videos I watched. It won't be available until the summer, so I have some time to figure out things out, but this is the current plan:
https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1490117
I'll be able to do a lot of sample mangling with that setup and I'll be able to use the Chaos and STS as a random drum machine of sorts. Ripples will also act as an input to run external gear (like guitar) into the system. I think this little setup combined with the Strega and No Ctrl will be good fun!
I'm going to post some gear for sale tonight. Behndy, hit me up if you want a Keystep Pro

lol. if i hadna just put in an order on a SQ-64, i would take you uuuuuup on that.
fucking seriously though. STAHP using Micro USB. that shit breaks too easy, is a bitch to orient, gets knocked loose. sucks they went with that instead of USB C on the SQ-64.

Yeah eyes open is good. Funnily enough just did a great jam with it hahaha. There are things it is great at and things it is... less great at.
Doepfer dual VCA and sequential switch in. Hoooww.... exactly. Did I not have a seq switch till now? Hours of fun!

seq switches are aweeeeesoooomeeeee. as fun as the Doepfer one is, if you're still Butts Deep Enjoying it in a bit, check out the Erica Synths one. it's NEAT. tons of muting and step skipping and stuff.
lol. really, the only thing i hate about the VGs, is that they don't start on the 1. can never get them to sync unless they start on the 2. i just plan around that though.

Ordered a rebel technology mix 02
So I am now waiting for two cases, nanorings, pachinko and mix 02. Received Ochd yesterday.
uT_u (temps utile) or a microplaits might be next. Might also go with an envelope or vca module if I can find something cool used.
Is it me or people ask for brand new prices on used modules ?

Ahhh I will have a look. The other one I have my eye on if I really like it SO MUCH I need more hp for it is the ALM Boss Bow Two. Some neat stuff there! Yeah syncing the varigate is like, what. What I find it really shit for is doing super deliberate melodies. What I really LIKE is it takes no time to just mess around and find something pretty cool as long as you're happy with it being pitch jumpy (because dialing in specific notes on that thing is the devil's work)

Nice Mix02 looks great
Prices?? Yeah depends on the module, some people absolutely do that but depends what you're buying too I guess.

Great!
Just ordered a used soundforce dual filter. Was looking at a Rossum Morpheus which would obviously have been way cooler but this is more reasonable. Getting close to bankruptcy here, gotta stop for a few weeks at least and wait for everything to be delivered before ordering anything else.

Oh man that five12 looks amazing
I don't really know if I'll need midi stuff. I guess I'll figure these things up when I encounter problems achieving things I wanna do
Edit: uhhhh the guy refunded me for the dual filter because he put free shipping by error
Edit2: found a mint Alright Devices Zzzorb locally

not a dual filter like I planned but since Rings and plaits(which I will likely buy when I have a bit more money) alreadh have filters I think this will be fine. It also has a VCA so that's cool.
