The Faye Sing was so weird with the power, and NFIF just didn't like being surrounded by a lot of pedals (sounded great with one or two pedals, but the more pedals in the signal the pedal sounded different... or weaker) - I'm just not too confident with the Infanem stuff anymore. I love the sound and they look cool, but it just seems all the ones I've owned had quirks... but maybe it's just me.

Agree totally. Quirks in the sense of a unique sound are cool, but quirky operation/power requirements/interaction issues etc is not cool.
Seriously. Totally bummed me out after trying it for 10 minutes. Haven't even touched it since...
Sorry guys, but none of my infanem pedals makes problems. MuseFTW Sounds like a broken pedal.
NFIF is a Fun Build that is like vintage fuzzes with all the NOS stuff inside. That is as picky as any other vintage clone with germ trannies.
My faye Sing works with the MXR 403 on 9V with no issues.
Probably i'm just lucky...

Here's my board:
don't ask why I have 2 ring modulators.

I got tired of waiting for Randy's revenge and got the frequency analyzer... it sucks compared to RR.
now it's on my board just because it can be.

It's weird, I've heard people say things about the faye sing and power, but mine works no problem with the same ordinary power supply I've used for all my pedals for years.

That gain issue with the SV does sound annoying though.

I don't have any issues with my 2nd voice either.. I've had the v1 and now I have the v2 with exp. and none of them had any tracking/power supply issues. And neither did they pop or fart or make any other unwanted noises... neither with single coils nor with humbuckers. I'm running it off my self made Power supply... It works on an isolated out as well as on a daisy-chain.. without problems. Haven't tried it with bass, tho... but soon.. soon
I have to point out that the 2nd voice is the very first pedal in my chain... so maybe it doesn't like being after buffered/other effects

but I don't know about that.. never tried it...

Just got my Faye Sing, no problem at all using a Carl Martin PowerJack adaptor. The only thing, the power is on automaticaly (but I can live with that... not really a problem).

This reminds me, when I was pretty new on here I saw a pic of bassus' board and he had like 3 or 4 ring modulators on there and I was all wtf and asked what he'd need so many ring modulators for. Answer: "They all sound different and just like fuzz you can never have enough ring modulators." I only have two now, but that one really sunk in.

But this is my sound...

Lot of awesome boards out, but this is just great. It's like, I can't define art but I know it when I see it. Aesthetically pleasing symmetry.

Man, I owe you big time. Every time my wife says I have too many pedals, I show her a picture of your collection. She then says "if you ever reach that level of craziness I want a divorce." Well, we are still way far... I ordered another 2 pedulz this week!
Thank you Excane for setting an unreachable threshold; you save my marriage, you help me fuel my addiction and you indirectly even contribute to Prymaxe's turnover (I have to order the pedals from somewhere!)
