Right ear is stretched to 00g. Got irritated due to not cleaning the wooden plug. Irritation turned into infection. Has since shrunk down to 0g. Currently healing but still swollen a little. Have a stainless steel flesh tunnel in to act as a retainer. So now I have one lobe at 00 and the other lobe at 0. This sort of asymmetry fucks with my psudo-ocd. I'm gonna have to wait until this ear fully heals, hope there is no scare tissue, and have it tapered again. In ten years at this gauge I've never had an issue.

My own dumb fault,...but I currently feel self conscious about looking like an idiot.

EDIT: In actual kind of sad news, my friend might have to get his gallbladder removed (he's 25). I can tell he's depressed about the whole thing, is drinking quite a bit (when he probably shouldn't be drinking at all), and is on a leave of absence from his job and doesn't really plan on coming back. He's hated that job for a while and has been looking other places, but I just feel kind of bummed that I'm too busy right now to hang out with and support my friends who are going through some shit.

Just got another email where they were wondering if the venue on friday has any subs, apparently we are renting one if they don't. So they don't want massive low end, and then require subs in the PA at venues?!?! Am I off my rocker or are these guys an ADHD rollercoaster of hypocrisy?

Probably more of an ADHD rollercoaster of wanting to do everything as it impulsively comes to mind.

You are right, atleast about the unsuccessful musicians IMO. The best musicians I've ever jammed with and had the most success with were both extremely organized and focused. When I go into a band or project its what i expect.

Total fucking ADHD sounds like. It sounds like they get 20 seconds into an idea and then:

Pretty much dead on..... Every new song that gets written is the new big thing and then a week later is garbage in their minds replaced by what ever they just wrote and recorded. This is the first band i've been involved with that having our own studio has been a hindrance. Their ADHD and indecisiveness is wearing my patience thin.

Had such an oh shit moment when I asked the girl I'm sleeping with if she wanted to go see Wreck it Ralph this weekend (she had just told me she wanted to see it). She asked me if I meant as a date (we very explicitly said no strings attached or anything when we started sleeping together). So I said no. At this point in my head I became Eddie Murphy in the Golden Child going across the tops of pillars above a botomless precipice. So I tried to say some very non committal politic thing in case she had been looking for a yes. She said though that she liked things how they were, so I think I'm safe.
