I've been meaning to get into Metro Exodus. I love that series, just haven't had a chance to play it yet.

I've been playing through Last of Us before Part II comes out. This is the first time I've played it on normal difficulty, aside from maybe my first playthrough when it came out (I've played through a few times and I usually play on hard or survivor), and it's practically a different game. On hard or survivor difficulties, if you make a mistake while sneaking, you're pretty much dead because resources are so hard to come by. On normal, I've been so flush with resources that when I get into a tight spot I don't mind throwing a few moltovs or wasting shivs. It's a totally different feeling. It's quite a bit more relaxed for sure.

I tried to download the worksheet, but it seemed to want credit card info, so I guess not :idk:

Downloaded Dwarf Fortress and started a game for the first time in years. Bizarrely I can still sort of remember how to play

Strike the earth!

Playing Wolfenstein II. Seems appropriate in a way.

After the 2016 election results rolled in, I played a ton of Wolfenstein. It’s super appropriate right now.

I never played the newest Far Cry but the concept of sneaking around with a baseball bat in chud territory is amusing.

If you've played a previous Far Cry, then you played the newest Far Cry. That being said, the setting/characters were really interesting and are also rather appropriate right now

I loved all the Far Crys. They are a lot of fun. Extremely repetitious, but fun. Primal was my favorite. Wish they'd have done it as a larger game. I mean, why would you not want to use a Saber-toothed tiger to kill people? lol

I never finished Primal, but it was one of the Far Cry games that I was the most excited for. I think I was mostly excited for it because it looked like it was going to do something a little different with the franchise and I just never finished it because I was disappointed that it was just more of the same. I still love the series though. They're incredibly fun games. I just hope they start trying to shake things up in the future because it's getting a little stale.

If your brain still remembers some/all of the arcane key sequences, you've probably forgotten some otherwise cool stuff to keep it there.

I'm still plugging along with my fortress. Mostly low-drama, so I'm just slowly trying to learn new things. And then recoil when I try to get my brain around some of the more complicated things like pump stacks or minecarts — instead I've just been slowly paving the name of my fort in large letters with coloured stone outside my main entrance.

My brain remembered a strange amount of it to be honest. Still spent a lot of time on the wiki

Got killed within a year by a necromancer/undead siege though, I guess I embarked too close to a tower, this is a new feature since I last played. Set up a new fort last night to start playing this morning. :excellent:

I picked up UE4 again after about a year of not messing with it.
I still have no fucking clue what I'm doing, but I've been so frustrated with games lately that I figured it was about time to start trying to make my own.

Yeah, I've been super-conservative with my embark locations, so I haven't experienced any of the undead/evil possibilities yet.

If you haven't read so already, I'd say not to be tempted by any of the raiding missions. I did one, which I think explains at least some of the random crashing I've been getting.

I am a looooong way from doing anything like that hahahha. Just trying to keep my forts going and explore some of the new features inside of forts. That doesn't necessarily sound like my bag anyway.

On the embark I thought I was being conservative! I just didn't realise about towers since they weren't in the last time I played
