There is a shop where my dad used to live in Virginia that almost exclusively sold aluminum uprights. Some of them were even painted to look like wood

i don't think any of them are any different unless someone's tried soaking theirs to turn it silver. probably just lighting in photos making them look different.

It's dat brushed metal finish, when the light hits it, it's all "whoaaaa" but otherwise it's just red.
