first patch with Surface into Imitor -

it's got some beautiful, non-traditional delay sounds in it.
really digging it. will try out the reverb algo later.
also, more Maestro into Altar, Surface (model input through Navigator), and Imitor -

Nice and haunting.
I'm so curious about these new effects modules from NE. Really dying to get back into them and finish an all-NE rack... but trying to not go crazy. The reverb really piqued my interest - and the delay seems like it covers a lot of Rainmaker territory.

it's really awesome. i would compare it more to a funky take on a Mimeophon over a Rainmaker? it does a lot of the left and right bouncy play like Mimes. lol. except with a really cool shimmer. and freaking 12 multitaps.
lol. so. shit. i guess a bit like a stripped down Rainmaker.
that thing is bananas though. you can make a patch that's a whole song in it.
i still almost catching myself making a Whole NE Case. would just... need... a sequencer.

Haha I know what you mean. They have those small baby sequencers but nothing fully capable besides Mimetic Digitalis, which I prefer using for modulation. They were working on a sequencer at some point in the last year IIRC - for some reason I remember them mentioning it and/or a listing on Modular Grid for a prototype.

trying to figure out a good envelope and VCA combo for 12 hp, at least 2 separate envelopes and a pair of VCAs. could grab another Javelin, but that's a little packed tight, especially with 2 next to each other. any ideas?
was going to go with a Pique and either a 2hp VCA or Zlorb Dual Summed VCA. was hoping to be a bit more spacious than 6 hp though. moop?
also, was trying to play with the Jolin Labs Tabor mostly, ended up buggling around more with the Maestro -

Bastl Skis? Envelopes are pretty limited in terms of control so may not suit you but it's 2x vca and envelopes in a very neat package and if a decay envelope would do the job for you it seems great. 2 of them would be 10hp haha

DURP. meant to say, needs to be a black panel.
i had a Skis! liked it a lot. but think i would miss Attack control. good suggestion though!
lol. for right now, have another Javelin on the way.
i... missed the NoiseEng approach to oscillators. putting a Cursis and Ataraxic back in my system. realllllly want to play witht the Maestro into them.

Well, I caved and bought some ish. Coming this week. XAOC's Odessa being out of stock along with Belgrad saved me a bit of extra pain lol. Really want to try Odessa.

what'd ya get Homie Chicken Leg?
Odessa is hawt looking. Belgrad was ballllller but just didna gel with it. my fault, not Xaoc's. i miss having a stereo filter (wanted to run Imitor into Altar, but didna want to lose the stereo field bouncing it does), the Supercritical buggeriboo (Neutron Flux i think? GONNA BE THE THIRD MODULE I'VE OWNED WITH FLUX IN THE NAME WOOOOOOOOOO.) looks like everything i love about Altar, but stereo, with extras. so. ordered.
i've been using the trig ins on the Nord Drum 2 to scratch my Sequence Drums With Metron itch, so pulled the Proks and have this when the 2 NoiseEng oscs, second Javelin and Bizarre Jezabel boop boops hit -

fuck yeahhhhhh. i don't give a SHITS what they sound like. as long as they're black, kinda obscure and/or expensive? GIMME.
Panelism. For life. NO RAGRETS.

XAOC's new delay + band isolator module. I don't need another delay, but the demos I heard were fucking great. I'm addicted to delays, for real.
Also picked up the new Mutable filter + VCA revision to make some space in my case.
The DivKid/SSF RND/Noise module, too. Thought about the Squarp Rample but didn't see enough reviews about it to swing my opinion. Tbh I don't need any more modular samplers.
Was looking for a Rainmaker and Odessa/Hel but they're both out of stock everywhere I've looked, so it's probably a pass on them until later.
Not modular related but I'm really side-eyeing that CXM 1978 reverb. I was skeptical about it but it sounds so fucking good, and if the DetMod coupon works on it I'll probably take the plunge. Been needing a reverb for the P10.
I'm also with you on the black panel look. I want to get panels for my silverface NE modules, but don't mind the silverface on the XAOC modules.

mmmmmmmmmm. Looty McLOOT Butts.
i know it's a little older now, but i've super been digging the Oto reverb. and the dirt/compressor. the delay is my least used/least favorite but... they all fit together on a row? and look cute lined up?
do kinda want a spring reverb that i can smack though. i'm trying to talk myself out of ordering the Dust Collector.
XAOC black panels are haaaaawwwwt yo.
JOIN THE PIGMENT PANEL FIRST ORDER.
JOIN USSSSSSSSSSSS.

Interested in your views on the delay. Seems very cool.
