The new Joranalogue Morph 4 looks pretty interesting. Basically ways to amplify and maximize modulation within a patch.

i do NOT understanding shipping lately. just got a Navigator and Altar in from Ireland (i think? Scotland? where is Signal Sounds?) on 2 days shipping, an NDLR from LA took 3 days, a Maestro from DetMod has been stuck on Accepted for like... 5 days.

sooooo... THIS is bananas. had a surprise envelope from QuBit, opened it, couldn't make any noise but a high pitched squee for about 10 minutes.

Nice stuff!
I finally got my case set up. Fun times!
Still some things to do and the mother 32 is only a placeholder till I get more stuff but with the sequencer it's a very fun placeholder.

LOL @ Data Behndy. That's amazing. Congratulations.
I bought a Turing Machine MK2 with both expansions on a single panel. I don't know what either of the expansions do yet but have always wanted to try a Turing Machine, so... why not? Experimental times await me.

Played another Freq Boutique last night! As much as I hated the prep this time around and miss the in person aspect, it did feel really great to play to an audience. I eschewed sequencing most everything in advance for playing keyboard, fucking with drum samples, etc. Complicated samples make for less sequencing needs!

Also, if any of you wants to play it, you're more than welcome to sign up for a chance to play, you can sign up at the link below. It's the second Monday every month and it's been pretty cool to have people outside of Colorado play. Fair warning, it does need to be live and not pre-recorded

That was a great set. Those percussion/drum set samples(?) were really nice. I like how it transitioned into the final 4 on the floor segment.
That Data Behndy is super cool, too!
I fear my modular hiatus is coming to an end. Really trying to resist the urge to splurge on some new modules. Really intrigued by a few designs but don't want to think too much about it and get myself into trouble lol. Biggest issue at the moment is setting it up in a logical location that I can reach comfortably. Might need to get a side table to put it somewhere that can interface with the Matriarch. I packed up my 2600 because there's simply not enough room/length to have it connected where it can actually fit.

that set is really good! It flowed so well between all the parts.

I'm a big fan of Myles O'Reilly's films (most of which involve filming folksy Irish musicians). Here he tries his hand at a soundtrack:

Thanks! The drum samples were from a friend. I asked for something "complicated" and that's what I got haha.

Thanks! I kind of feel like having to actually be hands on for almost everything really helped with that. It was fun, at least.

Thanks! I know we talked a bit about the rhythmic elements earlier, I think it came out nicely.
