Seriously...that belongs in aens fuck you fender thread!

Any other details on that bass...like where and how much?

Wow first fender in a long time to make me go wow!

You know.... years ago I found a real tele bass with the jazz mod... in that exact color in univibe in CA, it was a cool bass... if this tings even comes close to that this would be a sweet bass.

Man I love the concept but...that bass is UGLY.
I blame the Jazz bridge pickup, it needs to fuck off. The switch can...
Put a P pickup in the middle and that can be connected to the switch!

I applaud them for making a really interesting bass though.

I love Teles. I think old school Tele basses (that aren't actually shaped like Teles) are cool. 32" scale length...why not?
But I don't dig the Tele guitar shape on a bass (sorry, G&L lovers!), hate the pickup choices, and pretty much don't get why anyone would want a pickup selector on a bass.
Just...no.

I don't know. I'd wanna play it before I make any judgement.

it may sound fine. it's just the aesthetics and controls that make me recoil.

I'm a rosewood fan but it's not bad. I don't like shortscale though.

It's a Squire though. I mean come on people! Squire's fucking suck! The necks play like shit.

Oh and I know many people are going to say. "No JWAR you're wrong!" I have played me many Squire basses and guitars and they were all cheap pieces of crap. There is a reason they have a low price tag. Not trying to be a snob but they fucking blow.

EDIT:

God I'm a dick. lol. You guys go ahead and like what you want. I just don't get it though.

No your wrong jwar... it's that 'merican/mexican fenders fucking blow so much that squires actually play and sound pretty good in comparison :p

I agree with the Mexican part, but the American ones sound 10 times better and just are all around better constructed. Oh course that's just my opinion. I had an MIM P bass for awhile and it was a POS. I played an American made one and it played like a dream.

Of course I'd rather have a Ric like you but I'm a Musicman fanboi. lol
