I think if you want to add a bit of resonance in front of tremolo/delay or behind dirt, it's not a bad pedal to have. It likely won't replace other filters, because it's so scaled-down, compared to all the recent filter pedals on the market.

It's famous for being used by Jonny Greenwood on the Paranoid Android tour. Granted that was likely before Greenwood and everyone else in the UK got a Meatball. Sadly most demos just feature it being abused as a funk cover band's sex wah.

In case you want one of those for less than $100.

1. Find an old phone
2. move the speaker into the microphone side.
3. Connect the speaker to a 1/4 inch jack.

If you wan't the same aesthetics, buy an avacado baby poo green phone in the first step
