Not sure. I just moved to this area of Boston so I don't know what's around. It's more on the edge though, so it's suburban-ish and I don't think there are any garages around. I don't know. I need to look.

What part of Boston did you move to? I lived all around that bitch for quite a few years.

JP. Right near Forest Hills. Furthest out I have ever lived. I've pretty much always been in the South End / Back Bay area until now.

ryan, you should just come build guitar cabinets with me.

I added up the cost of getting (decentish) woodworking gear for my garage to do what I wanna do: nothing extreme, just finger-joined plywood cabinets with routed corners and hardwood trim.

And that shit is expensive.
I don't have an extra grand to spend on decent-ish tools. And I dunno that I want cheap stuff that's gonna break or kill me.

And I'll admit to being terrified of table saws, but only because my uncle lost his hand to one, and he's a cabinet maker.

Shit.

I would rather take the chance with a clamped straight edge and a circular saw,
the risk being one in a couple billion chance that the blade comes undone and flies into my face
or that there's a nail hidden in a piece of plywood that kicks it and chops me in half

oh god
I'm writing like you now

I quit my job at this local pizza place last night. I couldn't deal with the chaos in the middle of a rush, and walked out. Manager called today, left a message, she wants to talk about it. I don't want to go back, even though it's a pretty good job; I sort of backstabbed everyone by walking out then, and it's like a breakup, nothing can be the same now, so yeah.

Yeah while true that's sometimes how it goes and maybe that is what was needed... If you want the job and like the people go back and just be strait up and honest and say I fucked up sorry, it's always the best policy... If they are good peeps they'll understand... If they are Pizza Nazi's then Fuck 'em...

No, they aren't as cool as that. I'm sure the manager would be looking for my replacement, so what's done is done. I'm trying not to end up there in the long term, anyway, so it's better this way. You're right, though, and I would apologize if the job was worth it.

I hope you like cats. Because we don't have a spare bedroom, and the cats have the run of the rest of the apartment.

will i be forever ridden by the disease of looking around and longing for other women than i'm with?

even if it's a fleeting thing

like...

it feels like i have this urge to be unfaithful, at the same time trying to not be because i know what it feels like and i don't want to do that again

still, i feel fucking terrible

i think..... that's called..... having a penis.

i've never cheated on anybody, never will, but i still want to insert myself in like 82% of the people i see every day. it's natural. shows what kind of person you are if you act on it.

for me betraying the trust of somebody like that is kinda the worst thing someone can do.
