Stubborn, flakey people on craigslist are getting old. A guy is refusing to drive like a mile and a half extra to do a trade because of gas and time issues.
I would go the extra if it weren't a busy highway and I had a car.
Another guy had offered me a similar trade... Time to recontact him and hope he's still interested.

we have a gig at a club slash laundromat tomorrow and i am ESCITE.

now my damn Flash player is fucked up...it was working fine, but then croaked out and now none of the internet sites i try to watch videos on recognizes the Flash player and tells me to update it despite the fact that i downloaded the version Hulu said i needed. all i want to do is rip the sound from the stream of R.E.M.'s Road Movie. i downloaded Audacity and a soundcard-emulator so i could do this and it appears to have been a total waste of an evening. motherfucking phooey.

That moment when you're watching a video of a concert and the big solo comes up that you wanna see..

And the cameras all pull back to show the crowd or the whole band and don't zoom in on the lead guitarist.

In the converse, I fucking hate it when I'm watching videos of a concert and the cameras just stick to the singer and lead guitarist for 95% of the time. Fucking bass players exist assholes!

Yeah, they don't get adequate coverage of the band and crowd shots are usually worthless.

"Let's cut back to the crowd at this festival while the piano player is doing some sweet playing! because that piano player isn't what the people paid to see, the lead singer is!" or something going on in the cutting room.

I have to renew my plates and inspection. They expired a week and change ago and I didn't realize until I started getting tickets. You can't get an inspection if your plates are expired. You can renew your plates online though. Except you can't if you have outstanding tickets. You can pay your tickets online though, except it takes as long as 5 days for it to add new tickets to it's database. The registry isn't open on weekends, nor is their call center, so there is nowhere I can go, or call, to get this taken care of.

So I can't pay my tickets because they aren't on file yet. So I can't renew my plates. So I can't get a new inspection. So I get a new $40 ticket every day.

is there somewhere else you can park? surely you can find garage parking or something for less than fourty bucks a day?
