Is it a dick move to try to sell a bass for 300 bucks more than you paid for it? I'm trying to sell my Stingray Classic for 1700 and I paid 1400. They go new for way more though. I want the higher amount so I can buy this other dudes 25th Anniversary HSS 5 string. Which, funny story here. That's initially what I wanted when I was looking to get rid of my 4 string 25th HSS. It is in no way a dick move. That's just stuff douchecanoes say to try to guilt people into selling things to them for cheap. You'd be an awesome chap for selling it at a discount, but not doing so does not make you evil. If they're willing to buy it, cool.

No one, particularly the buyer, needs to know how much you paid for anything...all the buyer needs to know is your selling price and how flexible/not flexible the price is.

What you paid for it is irrelevant. You could've gotten it at a yard sale for $3.50, asked for $5000 and if somebody wanted to pay that much for it, good for you.

In other news i got my first two tattoos yesterday. Right arm was a breeze, left arm (which coincidentally was the pussy) hurt a lot more. But they look really good. I'll throw em up in a few days when they are healed.
