I love tremolo but I can't do without a tap for it. I like having precise control of what part of my notes get cut off.
It sounds killer otherwise.

Yea I'm not sure why anyone would want a trem without tap. Drives me fucking nuts not having one.

Slight variation in rate of effects can create depth, especially with multiple instruments. But tap is nice to have, sure.

Anyone know if that Parabola has real harmonic trem? I can't really hear any difference between the AM and FM settings in the videos I've seen of it.

Why not both?
Have the tap tempo rate be slightly modulated by a second lfo that's controlled by input signal. The EHX Super Pulsar does this, it would be my dream trem if it didn't sound like shit.

At least the Tremotron still exists.

I don't like having stuff around that I don't use so I sell all gear that I don't use that can easily be replaced in the future if I decide I really miss it. The used market is so huge with stuff like Reverb that I can do this without losing money.

I can't answer the harmonic trem question but I listened to a bunch of videos last night and the FM definitely sits behind your signal better. The AM is just okay IMO.

TL;DR
A picture is worth a thousand words. Didn't read a word of it.
You're never too old for Mono/Poly.

This year's April Fool's jokes (that I saw) were awful. Then there is the following (possibly bordering on cruel), which makes me ask: is it a prank on the readers, or is it a reader prank on the editors of GearNews? It appears to just be a rendering of a MemoryMoog slapped on top of a ROLI.
https://www.gearnews.com/moog-roli-laun ... nkensynth/
It could also be an intentional leak by Moog----
we'll resurrect the MemoryMoog on April 1st/Easter and everyone will think it's a joke, when it's actually not. That seems in line with the late Bob Moog's humor.
It was confirmed last year that Moog was working on a powerful new synth, when a consulting company talked about some of the user interface at a public forum. There have also been rumors of new MPE synths by DSI & Moog. That was cited as one of the reasons why neither was planning to attend NAMM. They were supposedly not going to announce new products until after MPE became formally standardized. That's all just rumors and speculation at this point though. This mockup doesn't really seem to mesh with what was confirmed---a JUCE-supported Moog synth.
