The only things about that guitar I don't like are the parts that are bouncing light off my eyeballs.

The fretboard looks so dry.

I know it's weird, but the first thing I saw was that terrible white plastic
why would you go that nuts with a guitar and then use stock plastics?

True.

The only thing I like on that guitar is the purple pickguard.

Do you like this pedal from your collection? Because it doesn't look that dissimilar to me, when compared to thousands of custom ZVex pedals. :idk:

Yes, and no.. No I am not a huge fan of pedals painted brown [mainly because for some odd reason bass pedals have been historically brown and I find it dumb] and if I had been given a choice I would have rather had the original color scheme of the pedal. And no I don't like the look of every pedal I own and yes Chank hella did buy it cuz SOMEONE FINALLY made a pedal with the name I chose here not just as a user name but as a disruption for what I thought/think more builders should be trying to build.. :p

How ever...

Looking at the TYM vs Zvex:

The Mud Fuzz has a very high quality sink screened finish that is reminiscent of a 70s Hammer Film poster, the background is that of a mud covered fuzzy substance be it a representation of werewolf fur or a fuzzy blob made from genetically altered hamsters, and a loud red/orange scary horror font.

The Zvex looks like a attempt by a 12 year old to do up a 60s style poster for a school project, but, it still doesn't look like someone had their 4 year old child draw all over it for them to hang on the fridge... Sure back when they started it was a sorta cool thing that set them apart from Boss and other mass produced pedals, it looked like someone made it in their basement and then had a 4 year old paint it, that was fresh and different in a 90s kinda way :p

*thumbs chin* Hmm...I don't think I've ever noticed a disproportionate browning of the bass pedal industry. I'm going to have to look further into this.

I'm pretty sure Boss started it...

Reverb decided to show this to me and the only reason I can figure is that they know I contribute to this thread.

I saw this the other day and managed to block it out for a short time. Thanks for bringing back the discomfort. :p

I'm not a fan of John Matos' work, but this guitar is likely the worst thing he's ever done. It looks like a prop from a lost Miami Vice episode.
