Ampeg V4 with 4x12 cab by Empty Hills, on Flickr

Just got this recently...lovin' it!

Here's a pic with my other amp, a blackface Vibrolux Reverb. It may actually be on the trade block.

yeah, the V4 is in really nice shape. Still has the original Magnavox power tubes. I really need to get it looked over, but it sure sounds good right now.

ha, thanks! don't know if you mean the big ass Dunny as well as the gear, but it belongs to the wife.
I collect toys too, but my tastes run more to Japanese monster toys. See?

I just took those shots, but I've sold quite a few toys over the past few years to buy gear. Pedals, amps, and guitars are a lot more fun. :!!!:

I meant the gear,...not a big collector of toys so I have no idea what I'm looking at,...but hey if they can facilitate wheelin and dealin,....I can get behind that.

I love that tele you posted in the geetars thread.

Thanks, man! It's a real player. I'm hoping to buy another K-Line some time this year, either a Strat or an offset of some kind. He knows how to make a good guitar.

Bass Rig of doom. I've yet to put this through it' paces,...but clean it sounds pretty sick. The 4x10 is louder than the 2x15,...but I think the 2x15 helps give me a more sub heavy lowend. Can't wait to hit it with an OC-2.

Nice dude! The 15s really look huge in comparison to 10s. What's the wattage on the 215 anyway? It's from the 70s, right?

The Kustoms are 4ohm cabs I'm pretty sure and they were paired with the Kustom Bass VI which was a 400 watt amp. So I'm guessing the RMS hovers somewhere around there. They were sold in the 70's and 80's.

I'm pushing 390 Watts to each cab,....running in Stereo. I kinda want to throw another preamp in there and figure out a way to run full stereo for delays and my MoogerFooger. I'd be stoked to find a 2nd Yamaha PB-1 pre.

Nice! it's about as big as my Webb. Is it ported?

Hey! what's that thing in the background with the chewed up headstock?

It is ported. If you look carefully you can see the ports of either side of the bottom fifteen (or,...with the way the cab is oriented,...on the top and bottom of the 15 on the left). :thumb:

It's knock off Jazz bass that has had most of the upper bout sawed off and a chewstock installed. It's not mine and I don't ever play it so I can't comment on it beyond that.

Classic 30 w/ Vin 30 FTW. Cheap, light, loud, great cab tone.

Japanese monster toys?! I man after my own heart. Strictly boutique, or does your collection go into the tokusatsu/kaiju/Godzilla/etc world?
