Another point of information.

The plan for the Solo deal, if/when, is to be able to play out live. The VB-99 could handle some of that, but it couldn't effectively control a synth beyond some pads. The VB-99 synth sounds are good, but not what I would want to base synth sounds on for an electronica project. They are good for some cool parts in songs really.
That was why I got the Midi Base, for the real time controlability of synths. If this was just a recording project, the Midi Base wouldn't be as important.

You've evolved so far beyond me with that stuff, I can barely process it.

As I read it, I start to think, hmm. Maybe I should just use the Venom for those few parts in the band, sell the VB-99, buy about 5 pedals for use with the band. Save the Midi Base for the future.

So. Baby update.

All five are doing great, so far. We're at 24 weeks and 5 days. The average for quintuplets is 28 weeks. There's a lot less risks if you can make it to 30....or even 32. So that's the goal. The record is 34 weeks and 5 days.

On August 28th we'll be moving Sarah to an apartment in Houston. There's a pretty bangin' team of doctors there who specialize in this. If she goes in to labor while in Lake Charles....bad thing. So she'll be moving there. I'll be working two jobs (old job and also just started my private practice) from Mon to Fri, driving to spend time with her on Fri night, and coming back Sunday night (her mom will do the opposite so that she'll always have someone there). We'll do this until all five babies are out of the hospital. My guess is that will be later January....she thinks in December but I find that REALLY optimistic. So we're looking at keeping that up five months or so. A weird bachelor life for four days and husband/father of five for three.

That's what's up. Anyways, three boys and two girls. Name them. Go.

As for names, what about Future, Sailors, Is, Fucking, and Awesome. The best part is they work for both boys and girls!

Naw, with names it's all about something that isn't insanely common, but something that people will recognize as a name right away and won't have trouble pronouncing nor have trouble telling the gender. I like Calvin or Milo for boys (both things my parents thought about naming me before settling on Michael ), and uh girls, i don't know, Louise and Tina? (pts for the reference)

And fuck middle names. You don't need that shit.

In other news, and to reiterate a thread I already posted in gear, what are some decent cheap starter pedals for my bassist to get. We were looking at the Behringer synth pedal and then some kind of bass distortion/fuzz. Altogether would prefer under $150 so maybe a muff of sorts? (I'd let her use my Russian BMP but I love it too much on my guitar board)

The Little Big Muff is the best in-production Muff IMHO. You can find them for $50 used all day long. You could also go and try the ODB-3 - it's love it or hate it. I give it a thumbs up!

Personally I think your boys names are pretty solid, but the girls both need work.
