Are there any cheaper alternatives to stackcables out there?
I love being able to endlessly patch everything into everything else when i'm playing in vcv and need to start doing more of that with my hardware setup...

Not that I know of. Pretty sure there's been many knock offs, but I don't think there's anything of quality. I would always just top up orders with a few of them every time I ordered something. They're totally worth the price. They're the only cables that I kept when I sold my euro

I liked those stackcables from modular addict as well. But then I bought one from tiptop and those are way better imho. The tiptop ones have a lower profile and are therefore sturdier.

lol. which is weird, because i grabbed the ModAddict ones because they were a little smaller, then TipTop redesigned and got stubbier. SNEAKY.
i don't use stacks a ton, so for me the color choices way make up for the slightly taller'ness. but i feel you.
VideoRetinas - ANGER faces! the left is a feedback distortion, the right is a feedback mixer. hope to have time to play with them today. from Reverse Landfill. dooder was super nice. uff. the post is so screwy right now it took almost a month to ship from France to mines.

Any of you folks get down with Doepfer A-107 Multitype Morphing Filter? In theory, it sounds fuckin' rad as all hells but I also don't really understand chaining together filters (?). Morphing between two filters sounds dope, though.
What other filters should I maybe consider for a fuckin' rad as hell filter? Right now, I'm using a Doepfer A-103 (TB-303 type) and a Mobenthey Sprott. Looking to expand the stable.
USE CASE: Put digital synthesizer (eMu XL-1 Xtreme Lead) through modular filter for extreme hot rad sounds.

A-107 looks pretty cool! I really enjoy morphing between filter types with Make Noise MMG and this is like, A LOT more of that. Haha. Definitely fun concept.

lol. the fuck is an "inch bunch"? weirdy.
they're neat!
also, dilemma - there's a well know module manufacturer that makes a RARE AND HARD TO GET lpg that people pay... probabbbbbly twice what they're worth and wait at least 6 months for a spot on a once or twice a year run. i have heard prettttty fucking bad things about the business practices for that company, and the (i think only person there) man running it.
i had one, after the YAY I GOT ONE honeymoon realized it's... okay? kinda want to mention all the shit things about the guy in the thread for it on Muffs, but don't really know if it's worth it to?

I generally don't love dredging up drama; it's rarely worth it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are already pretty turned off by their business practices already. Is there even still any hype around the Natural Gate?

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? who. WHO was talking about that? i was thinking of a company named... Unwell Pachyderm?
i mean. people still wait forever and talk about how amazing they are?
apparently it's a modified Streams. the solid back panel is so no one can look at the board without ruining their warranty.
WORD ON THE STREET IS.

Haha, that's kind of hilarious! I mean, it's pretty shitty and lame, but it's kind of funny that people wait around forever for one. If you have some reputable source on that it would be kind of funny to see how MW would react to that news

lol. definitely reputable, DEFINITELY doesn't want to be drawn into any of that.
yeah, that part kinda... tickles me actually. the fact that supposedly he pimps pre-orders to spend all the money on sex tours then builds them and ships them when he runs out of money is... less ticklish.
