That sucks! I've played a little bit of the Mopho...it's certainly fun. Isn't the Brute polyphonic though?

Yeah, Arturia dropped their shit on that one. I got tired of waiting and I didn't even pre-order so I can't imagine how you felt, Mud.
But no, the minibrute is monophonic also.

They put up the pre orders too early and went to namm and got it to demo-ers to make a buzz... I bailed also because I have this feeling that they will try and ramp to meet unhappy preorderers and with they make them too fast...

To my Maschine bros: how useful is the included software? Can it be a standalone production application? Or just for drums/sampling with Maschine? I'm asking because I want to finally purchase a full production application (Ableton Live, Logic, etc.) but if the Maschine software is powerful enough, I'll just stick with the...lets say older version of Ableton I'm locked into.

I'd get a separate DAW, Maschine software is just for Maschine as far as I know

I have seen people use Maschine as a DAW by "sampling" vocals or whatever is recorded with a mic (just using mic as input for sampling or sound from audio interface). Actually a pretty cool idea, you could chop what you play into it, rearrange a guitar solo or melody. You could build a song easily. Record the verse once, chorus once, and bridge or how ever your song is structured, then just copy the already recorded stuff when it is the 2nd verse etc.It isn't too hard to do, but it surely is missing some editing features that a DAW has. It is probably a good scratch pad though.
Maschine works fine with Reaper, it's what I use.

OK this thing looks insanely awesome, anyone know anything about the randal RG90-6

i play a randall commander 4 (rg120 410)
bought i on cl a few months ago for $125 and its awesome
cant find a whole lot of info on internet bout them
the distortion is definately kinda lame but got better when i got an sg with humbuckers
set it clean then work it with pedals
mines 4x10 80w a with 120w output and use a 2x12 extension and that made alot of difference with low end
i play it at a space where noise is not an issue and i think 7 is as loud as i ever need it, it cranks
I would say grab it if you mostly mess around with pedal knobs as appose to adjusting the head
im freakin jealous, i live near albany,ny and drove to new hampshire to get mine (7hours)
i want that thing bad so if you don t ...i might

Yeah I totally understand that. The numerous delays also made me quite weary as well.
Hopefully they're still up to par.

I think I might pickup up one of these Micro Terrors soon. Moving into a new apartment and don't feel like pissing off the neighbors. Plus the headphone out will be good for demos.
Has anybody here tried one yet? If it is anything like the Tiny Terror it should be pretty good.

Hmmmm interesting... I have some decisions to make. On the one hand I think the Maschine would give me a good array of percussion options, but if the DAW isn't powerful enough for what I need, then I'm going to have to wait for the Maschine and get a full DAW instead (cause they're so damn expensive).

I just tried one at pedalgeek.... I was lol'ing so hard when I first saw it. It's ......just.... adorable. It's like the cutest, tiniest fuckin thing I've ever seen.

On top of a 4x12 cabinet it was just hilarious. Like the little engine that could. "I think I can, I think I can"

Have you tried Reaper, it is a powerful DAW, free to try, $60 or so to buy.
Maschine is SO much more than a drum machine.
