The new house is really coming together. I got my desk studio and guitars all set up yesterday. It's snowing quietly. My girlfriend just made me coffee without me asking for it. She's also making homemade soup and bread for dinner.

FUCK YES! :joy:

Yesterday was awesome as well.
Finally got some stuff that I had been meaning to get done in terms of progress with builds done
Got to check out my new combo cab
Got to finish my part of the trade for the combo cab
Got to take home a new headshell for measurements to make a champ head later on
Got my Jazzmaster set up again, dropped the action, got rid of the buzz, and have it playing better than it ever has
Traded for an amazing guitar project
Put up my Verellen cab up for sale to move onto a bigger cab
Get to catch up with an old friend from highschool over lunch tomorrow
Sold my Sunn cab to finish buying parts for the combo amp

All in all, it's been an amazing few days and it looks like this week will also be great.

I haven't smoked weed in something like two years, but I live in Colorado, and when I get up in the morning, on New Year's Day, I will be verrrrrry tempted to drive to one of the weed stores just because I can now. I'm calling them that, "stores." Not "dispensaries." That's stupid. They are "Stores" now. It's weird.

A few years ago I had an idea to write a very "Grateful Dead-esque" song about going down to the weed store to just buy some weed. It looks like it's all coming truuuuuuueeeeee.

Went to a wedding yesterday, reminded me of when I got married earlier this year. Was a lot of fun and in a part of Maryland I'd never been before

first day of work today and things were OK. it's going to take awhile to settle into what'sgoing on, but it was awfully nice to be working at my own workstation surrounded by creative people again.

On a maybe semi related note: Finished my service at the army yesterday. I am now an Airmobile Combat Engineer of the first Batallion. It was very hard but fun at the same time... sometimes  . Now to continue with my normal life. Feels good :thumb:
