Re: The spite, hate, rage, apathy and mild irritation thread

Post by IEatCats »

I'm about to fall asleep, and I start hearing sounds from the other side of my makeshift wall. The very apparent sound of something like paper of plastic accidentally being kicked. It happened a couple times, definitely not the pipes or house settling. The cat isn't even inside, so it wasn't that. I'm fucking sick of my anxieties and having nights like this so often. I want to spend the night with my fucking girlfriend, and not be alone and so prone to worrying all the god damn time. Hopefully I can calm down soon, if the much slighter now noises go away/I can identify them as something else. I'm only on here, because nobody's on FB chat. Sorry for the scared post.

Part of it's probably that I saw Saw III today, and for some reason it fucking freaked me out. The first two I was fine with, but that one hit some cord in me, with the random gore, and basement surgery and shit. I don't know. I might just be having a weird night, but fuck whatever made that sound earlier.

Dicked around with my amp. Probably fucked it up more. I have a cheap shitty soldering iron and mad hand tremors. Problem is I can't really afford to send it to a tech.

le sigh. Good thing I band members with spare amps I can use.

Hmm. Heck I don't know. You're pretty vague about the matter so I can't really tell.

Lately I'm just pissed off and I want a Rat (modded to old specs), a Xerograph, a tuner, and a Boss Space Echo.

I have no idea what happened, the rehearsal was marvelous, energetic and stuff and then it ended and i came home and just felt stupid. Like... fed up with what i was doing? Feeling like i'm trying to be creative and original but it's just useless and retarded? that sort of thing

i don't know

oh and the Flanger Hoax i just bought... it has a faulty Blend knob. didn't notice at first, that shit pisses me off though... also it might be just too much for me... anyone interested in a Flanger Hoax that needs one pot replaced/rewired and maybe is willing to do a partial trade for a Boss PH-2?

Sometimes when one practices something over and over, it just loses its "freshness." I wouldn't worry too hard about it. If you have any aspirations of touring, you'll be playing those songs a LOT more. I also felt completely emotionally drained after my show the other day. I just chalk it up to "blowing your load," basically.

stop trying, let it flow. if you have to strain yourself to do music, you're doing something wrong. music is easy, music is fun, music is wonder-full. experimenting with really different music opens creative doors for me, so there's that.

just don't worry about it too much, but try to figure out the source of that feeling. could be just your subconscious trying to tell you something. if so, your dreams should have some content, so write them down.
