I guess this is where I tell you about myself.
My name is Nick. I'm 25. I live in Hatfield, PA. I posted on HCFX as i51423. I play guitar and Rhodes in a band that I assume most of you wouldn't care for called The Wonder Years. I'm gone most of the year on tour. I also have a few other bands and projects that no one listens to. I like accumulating gear and then turning everything up too loud.

That's an ancient song, but yes. We've since released two full lengths.

Hey hey hey
Name's Jim, 22, Hobart, Tasmania... Australia
I actually only play drums... no guitars, basses or anything but that won't stop me voicing my opinions!
I use pedals with No Input Mixing Board (if you don't know, youtube toshimaru nakamura) and other audio gear like test oscillators and stuff, been doing sound installations and other sound artworks with pedals too for a while.
Just starting to try to make 'songs' with this gear with the help of some ohnoho toys. Pretty tricky as I don't play a melodic instrument but not being able to play shit shouldn't mean you don't. Check them out on my soundcloud if you're interested in noise/rock.

Welcome to all of you.
If you are looking for shit and giggles, there is general, if you're looking for the noisy devices check out the buy/sell/trade section, usually the used prices on here are very good. There are also the builders hosted forums where some companies showcase their stuff and adoration is in place. The same but on a smaller scale is the shark tank, which is a subforum to the b/s/t.
You will also notice that there is very little moderation. That's because the rulebook consists of one: Don't be an asshole.
That's all, now go forth and enjoy yourselves.

Greetings!
New face here... I'm 23, been playing bass off and on for nearly 10 years now, not a day goes by that I don't kick on some good fuzz and riff/solo for a few hours in total blissss. Always read and heard about this forum so I decided to join up now. My current favorite fuzzes is my old, beat up Civil War Muff and my Mojo Hand Colossus.

Hahaha I was wondering when someone would speak up about that. I'm 17, live in Dallas, TX, favorite band is Man Man (even if you don't like their music, make an effort to see them live, amazing performers), I think drag and sounds are both pretty fun, especially mixed together. I play a longscale Danelectro Longhorn copy (actually a custom replica some guy had made of the Trashmen bassist's bass) and like to try experiments in aggression that aren't metal along with some ambient and cleaner stuff and attempts at fingerpicking. A Fuzzhugger Velcroscillator (the last one in this run!) was an early Christmas present I forced my parents to get me, and my 2nd effect to own after my Digitech Bass Synth Wah since switching to bass. I fucking love it, especially making theremin and baby sounds with the oscillation and my pickup volume knob. Now I just need a boost because my lipstick tube pickups don't drive it hard enough (WANT PHAT PHUK B), along with a true bypass loop so I can use the BSW without sucking all the fun from the oscillation with the BSW off. Oh, and a tuner, Pitchblack lost or stolen so I'm still using a clipon that can't stay on during shows, rock shit. "Rock"'s a verb there. Okay

a pleasure to make your acquaintances! My name's John

This is my third time posting this... damn the internet.
Been lurking the forum for around 5-6 months now, figure it's time to say hello.
I'm Nathan, 22 from Australia.
I like metal, mostly black and doom but pretty much all of the heavy genre's.
