A sweet sweet analog sounding poly with the Korg grain that's missing in what I have at hand (Moog LP, Korg Monotron, Korg Monotron Duo and few plugins such as Novation V-Station, Novation Bass Station a few freewares and Logic's stock stuff).

Saw that, but buying a power supply that works in France (you have V110, we have V230) only, adding shipping would make it about the price of a new one over here...

Analogue Systems makes some really high quality ones. You definitely get what you pay for, but you pay a lot for it.
Don't forget the .com controller.

That one is definitely cool, since you can play bass with one hand and leads or sound effects or anyone with the other, but it seems to be discontinues :/
Also, it's a different scale so you'd need a ton of adaptors to use it with eurorack.

Do you ever feel vulnerable with the black death exposed like that?

The Micro Black Death is fed in to the splitter and goes to the 655 then the 77. The other split signal goes straight to the mixer for the "clean" sound.

It seems reasonably durable. I've been using it live for over a year now with no issues. Fingers crossed.

Fuck you for living too far away from me to let me play with it
I don't have the slightest clue if this is true, but I heard it through the grapevine that Skinny Puppy rocked a Serge system for this supa bad ass track

That's similar to what I was doing at Noise Fest brah, except sans 77 (need to send mine to WT, gah) and with a 666 (funnily enough, theshoegazer's old 666

) in place of the 655 (and, ok, sans splitter). Pretty fun combo, but I'm at bit weird and always prefer running my noise synths on their own, without any input. Call it a weird compulsion or something.
For some reason I always found the
idea of the 77 more appealing than the actual sounds it produced, but well, different strokes for different folks and all that jazz.
edit: How's the 655 compared to the 666? I LOVE the 666, but it can also be a frustrating beast... I'm still not sure whether I fully understand it.
